We are seeking a highly-experienced SEN teaching support specialist to provide 1 to 1 support for a child with identified Special Educational Needs and an EHCP. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with children with special educational needs in a school, preferably in a similar role.
This is a full-time position, and due to the child's needs, it is vital that the person working with him is committed and reliable. We offer an attractive salary of approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience, based on London rates.
The Role
In this role, you will be providing 1 to 1 support for a child who requires assistance with all aspects of attending school. You will work closely with the child's teachers and other professionals to develop strategies to support their learning and well-being.
This welcoming primary school is a popular choice for families in the local area. The leadership team and staff have created an inclusive and exciting place to learn with an enriched curriculum. Pupils are effectively supported to make progress academically as well as personally and socially. The school is deemed 'good' with outstanding features by Ofsted and there is good CPD available.
What We Offer
We have a strong commitment to professional development and offer regular training and coaching opportunities to help you grow in your role. You will also benefit from a supportive and collaborative team environment, which is essential for delivering high-quality care and education to our students.
