About the Role

As a Freight Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are paying the correct revenue for the products being sent through our network. This involves checking weigh and cubing suspect freight, researching customer bases, and understanding charging exemptions.

You will also partner with sales teams to educate customers about their duty of care to our workers and ensure that they are declaring their goods correctly.

Responsibilities:

  • Check weighing and cubing suspect freight
  • Research customer bases to identify areas for improvement
  • Partner with sales teams to educate customers on correct declaration practices
  • Understand charging exemptions and resolve issues with relevant depot managers
  • Educate the workforce on active lookouts for new customers and opportunities to raise revenue

Requirements:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in revenue protection or compliance roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
