Job Title: Simulation Systems Engineer

At Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, we are a team of passionate and enthusiastic people who work together to design and develop the cars driven by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and Grand Prix winner George Russell.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the simulation and analysis of car systems, ensuring all requirements are understood and met.
  2. Collaborate closely with Design, Test and Development, Dyno and Trackside Engineering to verify and validate system specifications.
  3. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of simulation and analysis, reporting results in a concise manner to inform stakeholders.
  4. Continuously improve simulation and analysis tools and processes to enhance efficiency, fidelity, and performance understanding.
Candidate Profile:

We are seeking an experienced engineer or physicist with a strong background in high-performance engineering environments. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A degree in engineering or physics, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Demonstrable experience working in a high-performance engineering environment across multiple functions.
Desirable Skills:

Candidates with experience in coding to automate processes, manage data, and visualize information will be highly valued. Additionally, the ability to creatively present data in formats accessible to a wide range of stakeholders and business areas is essential.
