Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Aviation Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and implementation of advanced aircraft seating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of aircraft seating systems, from initial concept through to production and support.
- Apply your expertise in Systems Engineering principles, including Requirements Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Functional Design.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of seating systems.
- Conduct thorough analysis and design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as EASA PART-21, CS-25, and CS-ETSO.
- Implement robust Configuration Management processes to track changes and maintain system integrity.
- Utilize DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) techniques to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven knowledge of EASA PART-21, CS-25, and CS-ETSO regulations is essential.
- Hands-on experience with EASA DOA (Design Organization Approval) processes is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in applying Manufacturing/Engineering principles related to procedures, particularly within the context of DOAs.
- Strong problem-solving and auditing skills are essential for this role.
Desirable Skills:
- Project Management skills, including financial, contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with both Airbus and Boeing specifications.
- Experience with CATIA V4 and V5 software.
