Key Responsibilities:- Lead technical projects to meet external requirements and deadlines with agility and precision.
- Define project timelines and milestones while fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and coordinate development efforts to enhance existing control systems.
- Provide technical direction and develop sophisticated control algorithms to address complex engineering challenges.
- Create and maintain simulation models to evaluate control system performance.
- Ensure simulation results are validated through consistent quality checks and correlation with track and rig data.
- Introduce new technologies and innovative solutions to continuously improve the team's control system simulation capabilities.
- A Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on mathematical and physical systems.
- A solid foundation in engineering numerical methods, classical mechanics, and multi-body dynamics.
- A methodical, data-driven approach to solving complex problems using various tools and data sources.
- Familiarity with multi-body engineering tools such as Modelica and SimScape.
- Expertise in transmissions, vehicle dynamics, and power units.
- Experience in non-linear programming techniques and optimal control strategies.
