We are seeking a skilled Female Specialist Support Worker to join our team at Peabody Trust. As a Female Specialist Support Worker, you will provide crucial support to our young female residents, aged 18-25, including care leavers and ex-offenders.

About the Role

Working in our all-female supported housing scheme, your focus will be on:

  • Safeguarding and promoting wellbeing: Creating a safe, supportive environment for young women.
  • Building trust and resilience: Using trauma-informed care to empower residents in achieving their goals.
  • Housing-related casework: Helping residents develop life skills, maintain tenancies, and prepare for independent living.
  • Managing challenging behaviour: Confidently de-escalating conflicts and ensuring the safety of all.

As a Female Specialist Support Worker, you will work waking night shifts on a rota, with no more than four/three shifts per week over a two-week period. Your salary will be ££30,000 per annum, plus benefits.
