Female Residential Care Worker

This role supports young people with challenging behaviour in a residential home in South West London. The home provides a mixed-gendered environment, housing 11-17 year olds who require support with education and community activities. Key areas of need include managing relationships, accessing education, and safeguarding against exploitation.
Typical challenges faced by the individuals supported in this role include criminal exploitation, substance misuse, and physical aggression. To be successful in this position, you will have 3 years of experience in residential care, be resilient and mature, and possess a strong understanding of missing protocol.
The ideal candidate will work full-time hours, including weekends and bank holidays. In return, they can expect a competitive salary, opportunities for career progression, and the chance to work towards a L3 qualification.
