An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Claims Manager to join Carpenters Group during a period of rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and control the claims function across all motor claims areas, including AD.
  • Provide a high-level overview of claims performance and identify trends across the claims process.
  • Develop and coach team managers to maximise their performance and that of their teams.
  • Work with clients to enhance delivery of customer service and claims strategy for respective processes.
  • Analyse data and predict trends to provide recommendations for improvements to performance.
  • Ensure data is disseminated across teams to understand team/individual performance.
  • Oversee completion of monthly audits in accordance with business policy.
  • Work with training/QA to ensure the collation and delivery of appropriate training sessions.
  • Quality check team managers to ensure 121s/appraisals/PDPs are completed in line with above.
  • Liaise with team managers to address instances of poor performance and ensure support is provided or performance issues are dealt with following company procedures.
  • Identify talent and support the development of your people.
  • Drive your own development by actively seeking development opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with developments in the insurance industry/legal industry.
  • Ensure customers and the business are kept safe through team compliance to all procedural and regulatory legislation as required by FCA/SRA.
