We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist Assistant to join our Mental Health team at HMP Stocken, a Category C male prison near Oakham.

This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. You will be working closely with the onsite Psychologist, offering vital support to your patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the psychological care of patients throughout their journey, from reception to release planning
  • Provide psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of the qualified psychologist
  • Work with people with complex needs, which can present challenging situations or behaviours
  • Contribute towards the Challenge, Support and Intervention Plan (CSIP)
