Job Summary:

Norfolk County Council is seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our Residential Children's Practitioners team. As a Residential Children's Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care and support to young people with disabilities in our new residential home, The Den.

About the Role:

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong sense of empathy, resilience, and a passion for working with children and young people. As a Residential Children's Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and behavioral support.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
