Job Summary:

Norfolk County Council is seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our Residential Children's Practitioners team. As a Residential Children's Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care and support to young people with disabilities in our new residential home, The Den.

About the Role:

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong sense of empathy, resilience, and a passion for working with children and young people. As a Residential Children's Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each young person receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that each young person's needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
