Job Title: Neighbourhood Housing Officer

Location: Tower Hamlets

Job Type: Full time/Contract

Pay Rate: £27 Per Hour

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Neighbourhoods Housing Team as a Neighbourhood Housing Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a Neighbourhood patch, providing tenancy-neutral housing and estate management services, and engaging with residents to ensure the highest standards of customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the patch to an exceptionally high standard, conducting regular estate inspections and involving residents in the management of their Neighbourhood.
  2. Proactively identify and address potential hazards and Fire Risk Assessment actions.
  3. Ensure the speedy lettings of property in line with the council's and national BVPI targets.
  4. Support and sustain tenancies to prevent homelessness through the provision of general tenancy support to residents.
  5. Undertake all aspects of tenancy management in a sensitive and effective manner.
  6. Case manage residents with additional needs.
