Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our dynamic team at Opl Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our community pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management & HR: Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist with day-to-day HR management, including generating rotas, approving annual leave, and completing annual appraisals.
  • Dispensing: Provide assistance to the dispensary team, complete dispensing duties as required, and support the dispensing workflows.
  • Services: Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist with managing the provision of NHS services and public health contracts, ensuring guidelines are followed and correct claims are made.
  • Over the Counter (OTC) Trade: Maintain adequate stock levels, order stock as required, and check invoices against stock received.
  • IT & Telephones: Troubleshoot IT problems, update the pharmacy's Facebook account, and ensure the PMR system and other systems are maintained and protected effectively.
  • Governance & Complaints: Oversee health promotion within the pharmacy, act as the first point of contact for complaints, and ensure details are fully documented.
  • Finance: Oversee cashing up daily, including printing till reports, and ensure sufficient credit is available for the text messaging service.
Person Specification
  • Experience: Essential experience of working with others as part of a team, multitasking in a busy setting, and supervising a team and workload.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, IT skills, and maths and logical reasoning skills.
  • Qualifications: Good standard of general education and dispensing qualification.
