Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and play opportunities that promote the children's development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Compile and maintain accurate development records for each child, reporting to the Team Leader at regular intervals.
  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment that meets the needs of all children, including those with special needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team and other professionals to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services, staying up-to-date with current developments in childcare practice and policy.

Requirements
  • NVQ 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children and child protection.
  • Flexible approach to hours, including willingness to attend meetings, training, and nursery events.
