About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within the WAM Community Integrated Mental Health Services, holding a caseload and focusing on delivery of a specific time-limited intervention using the recovery model.
  • Empower service users to use their strengths, skills, and special interests to aid in their recovery, while working under the secondary services of our Multidisciplinary Team.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead.
Requirements
  • Be a Mental Health Nurse with relevant professional registration.
  • Hold a full UK Driving license and have use of a car for work purposes.
  • Broad post-qualification experience within a mental health setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of contributing to policy and procedure development and implementation.
  • Experience of managing and supervising other staff.
  • Skills in CBT or family work.
  • Research and audit skills.
  • Group facilitation skills.
  • Report writing skills.
