Job Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead. As a key member of our Adults Community Mental Health Team, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality clinical services to mental health service users and their carers.

Main Responsibilities

You will hold a caseload and focus on delivering a specific time-limited intervention using the recovery model. The care and treatment will focus on empowering service users to use their strengths, skills, and special interests to help in their recovery, while under the secondary services working with our Multidisciplinary Team. You will be offered regular clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Mental Health Nurse with relevant professional registration, hold a full UK Driving license, and have use of a car for work purposes. You will also need to have broad post-qualification experience within a mental health setting and knowledge and experience of contributing to policy and procedure development and implementation.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a Degree/Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, current NMC Registration, and evidence of continuous learning. You will also need to have previous knowledge and experience of working in a care environment and with service users who have complex mental health needs.
