Job Overview

At The Bleep 360 Group Ltd., we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our dynamic team in a residential care setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute meaningfully to the lives of children and young people, providing them with the care, guidance, and support they need during their crucial developmental years.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist the Registered Manager in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people, appropriate to their age, understanding, and identified needs. You will provide support with all aspects of their daily lives and encourage them to engage in decision-making relating to their care. You will also ensure that good health and welfare is promoted and that the needs of young people are identified, and services provided to meet these.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Manager in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • Provide support with all aspects of their daily lives and encourage them to engage in decision-making.
  • Encourage and support all young people to take responsibility for their self-care and personal hygiene.
  • Ensure that good health and welfare is promoted and that the needs of young people are identified.

Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma for Children & Young People workforce (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with Children and Young People in a residential care setting, most recently in a supervisory role.
  • Sound knowledge of Safeguarding and how to put this into practice within a residential childcare setting.
