Support Specialist for SEND Students

We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to work with our team in a SEND School located in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with complex needs.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing one-to-one support to pupils with varying levels of need, promoting inclusion and acceptance within the classroom environment.
- Collaborating with teachers to develop lesson plans, ensuring tailored support for each student's requirements.
- Delivering catch-up sessions to aid pupil progress.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Recent experience working with children and young people, specifically those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting vulnerable learners.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- The ability to work under the guidance of a teacher, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
- Experience in using Personal Care strategies to support students' daily needs.
