About the Role
DMC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the ENT department. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the consultant and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Organise and set up clinics, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Liaise with the Referral Management Centre to schedule appointments and ensure seamless communication.
Manage stock control, including ordering, storage, and stock levels.
Ensure the clinic environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to infection control and prevention protocols.
Provide exceptional patient care, engaging with patients and their families, and supporting them throughout their care journey.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Estates and Supplies, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent qualifications
- Band 2 or 3 HCA experience, preferably with 6 months of experience in the last 2 years in the UK
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve, and apply regulatory requirements
- Excellent patient engagement, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels
