Job Opportunity: Aspire People is currently recruiting a healthcare teaching assistant to work in a special needs school located in a nearby area.

This school caters for students in KS1 through to KS4 and is looking for a teaching assistant with experience working in the care sector who is interested in utilising their skills within education.

The role involves working one to one with students, developing social and cognitive development, and working collaboratively with the class teacher and a number of assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their educational and personal needs
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other assistants
  • Develop social and cognitive development in students

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the care sector
  • Interest in utilising skills within education
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
