A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an Observational Research Scientist to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a company renowned for its centre of excellence, relentless innovation, and pioneering techniques in pharmaceutical science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Statistical Analysis Plans: Prepare and develop cutting-edge Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) that will drive the future of drug safety and efficacy research.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in groundbreaking company projects, utilizing real-world healthcare data (RWD) to analyze the safety and effectiveness of our studies and drugs.
  • Research Contributions: Provide expert epidemiology and drug development research strategies that will shape the future of healthcare.
  • Collaboration: Liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
Requirements:
  • Academic Expertise: A degree in Epidemiology or a related field such as Health Economics.
  • Pharmaceutical Experience: A robust background in epidemiology research within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in working with CPRD or THIN, and hands-on experience with statistical software, particularly SAS, as well as real-world healthcare data (RWD) and primary research.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
