About the Role:
We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in one of our excellent primary schools in Chester Le Street.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis, promoting their learning and development.
- Manage challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Class Teachers to discuss and implement strategies for pupil progress.
- Prepare resources for learning activities and lessons.
- Supervise pupils at break times and lunch times as required.
