Teaching Assistant Role

Ripple Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Chester-Le-Street and surrounding areas. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children
  • Support school staff in facilitating active participation of children in academic and social activities
  • Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
  • Implement daily routines and plan age-appropriate activities in conjunction with other staff
  • Assist children in personal/intimate care and evaluate their development, keeping records as directed by the teacher
  • Liaise with parents/carers only when directed by the class teacher
  • Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and safeguarding requirements, ensuring children are supervised at all times
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 references
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification - Degree
  • Experience of working in a primary school
