Apprentice Commis Chef Opportunity

Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Commis Chef. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to develop your culinary skills and knowledge while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to specification
  • Maintain good food hygiene practices and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained
  • Participate in kitchen cleaning and organization
  • Develop skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and workshops

Requirements:
  • 12-month apprenticeship program, plus up to 3 months for End Point Assessment
  • 6 hours per week in paid hours to complete off-the-job training
  • Attendance at training sessions at the Chef Academy every 4-6 weeks
Next Steps:
