About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at Shepherd Neame. As a Commis Chef Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients as instructed
  • Cook food to specification and present dishes to a high standard
  • Maintain good food hygiene practices and ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working order
  • Contribute to kitchen cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times

Training and Development

As a Commis Chef Apprentice, you will have access to a comprehensive training program, including workshops and development days. You will work closely with our training partners, HIT Training, to develop your skills and knowledge.

What's Next?

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to progress into a Senior Production or Chef De Partie role within our company.
