Your Role:

  • As a Wellbeing and Engagement Assistant, you will play a key role in creating personalized activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our residents.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging programs that promote social interaction, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess resident needs through meetings with residents, team members, and family members.
  • Support the delivery of stimulation and exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Build relationships with residents and families to gather life story information and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging activities that cater to diverse interests and hobbies.
  • Establish community links and arrange trips and excursions to promote social interaction and independence.

Requirements:

  • Deliver group and one-on-one activities with confidence.
  • Maintain excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate genuine interest in promoting independence and lifestyle opportunities for seniors.
  • Show energy and a strong work ethic.
  • Possess basic IT skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Exhibit passion for delivering exceptional service and making a positive impact.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
