About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social worker to join our team as a Foster Care Recruitment and Assessment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a workload of foster carer assessments across Tower Hamlets.
Job Description:
Foster Care Recruitment and AssessmentThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Team Manager at targeted recruitment and information events, undertaking initial visits to prospective foster carers, delivering the ‘Skills to Foster’ training with colleagues, presenting to Fostering Panels, and undertaking assessments of Connected Persons Foster Carers in accordance with the Care Planning and Case Review Regulations 2013.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in Children’s Social Services within the UK.
- Experienced Fostering SW, with a recruitment & assessment background.
