Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with a renowned global medical technology company with an impressive legacy spanning over a century, creating life-enhancing medical diagnostic products.

The company is seeking a highly skilled Vision Engineer to join their Operations Engineering Group, supporting all manufacturing aspects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing processes of their flagship biosensor products, using innovative problem-solving skills and staying up-to-date with the latest vision systems technology.

The Vision Engineer will collaborate with engineering colleagues across manufacturing and R&D, contributing to all stages of vision systems projects—from defining requirements and specifications to designing, developing, and installing solutions for their automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate Vision Systems and Automated inspection solutions, ideally with Cognex and Keyence, programming in C / C# and code readers.
  • Develop and implement vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV or PyTorch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and install vision systems solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the Machine Vision strategy for the department.

Requirements:

  • HNC, HND, or degree in an Engineering/Scientific discipline.
  • Proven experience in vision systems and automated inspection solutions.
  • Skills in Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLC platforms are beneficial but not essential.
