Role Overview: Advanced Materials Researcher

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Materials Researcher to join our team at QinetiQ. In this role, you will conduct research and development of advanced materials, focusing on electro-optic technologies. Your expertise will enable us to create innovative solutions for various applications, driving business growth and success.

**About the Role:**
This position involves designing, developing, and characterising novel electro-optic materials, devices, and coatings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting materials prototyping, preparing laboratory experiments, providing technical advice, and managing project timelines.

**Key Requirements:**
  1. PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science (or equivalent experience).
  2. Expertise in electro-optic materials, devices, and coatings.
  3. Experience in using spectrometers and other laboratory test equipment.
  4. Strong programming skills in languages such as Matlab.
