Senior Battery Technology Specialist

CV Library is supporting a leading automotive manufacturer in appointing a specialist to drive battery research and development.
Salary and Benefits:Up to £27.00 per hour (PAYE + holiday pay), with overtime opportunities. A 12-month rolling contract, working Monday to Friday, 39 hours a week, with an early finish on Fridays.
The role involves leading annual projects related to power electronics and battery technologies in the electric vehicle market. Key responsibilities include demonstrating expertise in applied chemistry, particularly in energy storage applications, conducting trend research, horizon scanning, and data analysis to support the electric vehicle research team.
Requirements:- A degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Experience in data analysis within industries such as automotive, power electronics, powertrains, or energy networks.
- Strong background in researching and improving the chemical composition of active materials for energy storage applications.
