Job Summary

NS&I is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our Business Delivery & Transformation Directorate. As a Programme Manager, you will play a key role in delivering our Transformation Programme, working closely with the Programme Director to ensure successful programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful management and delivery of the NS&I Programme, in accordance with agreed methodologies, Enterprise Programme Office (EPO) standards and Programme and Project Management (PPM) best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective programme governance, risk management, and issue management strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure programme alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Manage programme budgets in excess of £20M and individual project budgets in excess of £5M.
  • Ensure programme delivery meets quality, time, and cost requirements.
Requirements
  • Recognised PPM practitioner level qualification, such as Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) practitioner, PRINCE2 practitioner, or Association of Project Management practitioner.
  • Substantial experience as a Programme Manager in a similar environment to change and banking.
  • Experience in Programme management and in Project management within the public sector or Financial Services.
  • Experience of working in an outsource environment as client and/or supplier.
  • Experience in delivering Change managing multiple 3rd parties.
  • Experience of managing and delivering Portfolios containing multiple concurrent initiatives.
What We Offer
  • Salary of £57,000.
  • Civil Service pension with an average employer contribution of 27%.
