Job Title: Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Business Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Business Development to join our team at Scienta. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading strategic efforts to expand our pharmaceutical CDMO services portfolio.

In this role, you will develop and execute growth strategies to target high-value partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, collaborating with internal teams to align client needs with our capabilities. You will also conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitor offerings, leading contract negotiations and managing key accounts. Additionally, you will represent the company at industry events and mentor junior business development team members.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling services to biotech and major pharmaceutical clients in the UK and Ireland. They should have good knowledge of CMC, cGMP, API, and the drug development process for small molecules. A Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, business, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent) preferred. Experience in Business Development or Sales within the CDMO Sector is essential.
