Ribbons and Reeves Limited is a leading education recruiter, specialising in helping educators of all levels secure long-term and permanent roles. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in Haringey, North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to gain valuable experience in delivering tailored educational support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will be able to work in a supportive school environment, developing their skills in classroom management and specialised teaching techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a degree from a top UK University and previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. A genuine interest in SEMH and special educational needs is essential, as well as the ability to start immediately.

The salary for this role is up to £100 per day, paid weekly via PAYE, making it a competitive and attractive option for graduates. The contract will run from January 2025 until July 2025, providing a stable and long-term working environment.

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills in classroom management and specialised teaching techniques for children with SEMH needs.

You will provide dedicated support to children with SEMH needs, ensuring they receive the necessary attention. You will also lead small group activities and assist in 1:1 sessions, collaborating with the schools SEN team to monitor and support student progress.

Responsibilities include:
