Primary SEMH Support Assistant

At Ribbons and Reeves Limited, we are seeking a dedicated Primary SEMH Support Assistant to join our team in Haringey, North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain valuable experience in delivering tailored educational support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £10,000 per annum, paid weekly via PAYE. The contract will run from January 2025 until July 2025, providing a stable and long-term working environment.
The ideal candidate will have a degree from a top UK University and previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. A genuine interest in SEMH and special educational needs is essential, as well as the ability to start immediately.
This role is perfect for a graduate looking to make a meaningful impact in education while gaining valuable experience. As a Primary SEMH Support Assistant, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills in classroom management and specialised teaching techniques for children with SEMH needs.
You will provide dedicated support to children with SEMH needs, ensuring they receive the necessary attention. You will also lead small group activities and assist in 1:1 sessions, collaborating with the schools SEN team to monitor and support student progress.
