Area Sales Manager

Join our client, a highly successful and progressive company, as they seek an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts in the Southeast Region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing sales through a distributor network, with experience in the automotive, agriculture, tool shops, or industrial dealers sectors.

This role reports directly to the Regional Manager and offers opportunities for career advancement within the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, acquiring new business, and maintaining and developing client relationships.

Key duties include:

  • Visiting distribution prospects and customers to develop the area
  • Prospecting new accounts and presenting products and sales promotions to distributors
  • Providing sales training to distributor sales teams and seeking new distributors
  • Capturing competitive information and maintaining social media communication
  • Managing a diary and compiling reports, while staying up-to-date with industry changes and technology
  • Working towards sales targets and attending sales meetings

Additional responsibilities may include other related duties as required.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
