Role Overview

The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for strategically planning and managing a comprehensive content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across all verticals. This will involve working alongside Senior Commissioning Managers to align workflows across various parts of the business, including Media, Design Studio, Marketing, Content, Editorial, and Sales.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in working at a fast-paced digital service company and understand how to manage a workflow system for a large content creation team. You will be exceptional at tracking data and regularly providing reviews to Senior Commissioning Managers and wider teams when necessary.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic planning and management of a comprehensive content calendar.
  • Aligning workflows across various parts of the business.
  • Becoming sufficient in using our content-creation software to build content when required.
  • Contribution to overall objectives and accountability for specific content goals and KPIs.
  • Collation of data using key metrics to measure performance and efficiency across departments and individuals.
  • Freelancer management, ensuring we're meeting capacity, managed and organised in advance of content peaks and employee annual leave.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Ability to plan and manage a content calendar effectively.
  • Project management skills - mid level.
  • Data analysis - you will be knowledgeable on data analysis and be able to make recommendations.
