About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager and Proposal Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling and creating bespoke bid responses with the aim of securing business tenders within the Contract Social Sector team.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the Social Sector Contract team to prepare high-quality responses for pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ's), Invitation to tender (ITT's), and case studies. Additionally, you will provide support to the business development function as needed in line with business strategy and take ownership of ad-hoc projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and re-working existing pre-written content where relevant.
  • Obtaining, reviewing, and editing information received from subject matter experts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience of responding to tenders and bid writing. Proven ability in planning, compiling, and delivering compliant bids is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of around £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus annual company bonus, excellent pension scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy additional days, free onsite car parking when working in the office, staff discount, employee assistance programme, and exceptional reward and recognition events.
