About EDF's Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme

What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Engineer Graduate, you'll rotate through exciting placements that will give you hands-on experience across our Nuclear new build sites. You'll work on a variety of projects, including:

  • Preparing fire strategies for buildings at our power stations
  • Working in the Fuel Route, Outage and Investment Delivery team
  • Understanding of the preparations for operating HPC when complete
  • Working on site at a power station, supporting graphite inspections

Training and Development

We're committed to your growth, offering a tailored training path to enhance your skills and knowledge. You'll contribute to different projects throughout the programme and have the opportunity to gain chartership with a number of professional institutions, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

Security Vetting

You must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
