Mechanical Engineer Graduate Programme: Launch Your Career in Nuclear Energy

What You'll DoAs a Mechanical Engineer Graduate, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:
- Preparing fire strategies for buildings at our power stations
- Working in the Fuel Route, Outage and Investment Delivery team
- Understanding of the preparations for operating HPC when complete
- Working on site at a power station, supporting graphite inspections
You'll also have the chance to contribute to different projects throughout the programme and gain experience in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Training and DevelopmentWe're committed to your growth and offer a tailored training path to enhance your skills and knowledge. You'll have access to a range of training courses, including:
- Nuclear fundamentals
- EPR (European Pressurised Reactor) systems
- Communications
- Health & safety
Our programme is accredited with a number of professional institutions, and we'll support you to gain chartership with the relevant professional body.

Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, the power generation industry, and technology. You'll need to have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, as well as a keen ability to solve technical problems.
You must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
