Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme Overview

What You'll Do

  • Rotate through exciting placements that are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
  • Experience the hands-on work across our Nuclear new build sites.
  • Contribute to different projects throughout the programme, including driving grid code compliance, reviewing electrical distribution system design, and developing nuclear safety cases.
  • Support the HPC commissioning teams and participate in hands-on trouble-shooting with site technical teams.

Requirements

  • A 2:2 Bachelor's Degree or a 2:2 Postgraduate Degree (obtained or expected) in Engineering, Science, or a related subject.
  • A genuine interest in nuclear energy, the power generation industry, and technology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Keen to solve technical problems.
  • Meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
