Job Title: Head of Sales and Distribution

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales and Distribution to join our team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As a key member of our Senior Exec team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales and distribution function of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and distribution partners, collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, staying updated on industry developments and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Drive sales performance by setting clear sales targets and KPIs, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and manage distribution channels, maintaining and identifying strategic partnerships with key distribution channels, such as brokers, agents, and affinity groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, marketing, product development, and operations teams, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management, ensuring sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry, including insurance products, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the insurance industry, preferably Insurer or MGA.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Established network of broking contacts within the industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
