Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting Social Workers in undertaking complex social work assessments and formulating support, protection, and care plans.
  2. Negotiating with colleagues and partner agencies to resolve differences of opinion and building effective relationships with service providers.
  3. Detailed knowledge of the Children's Act 1989 and the 'Framework for the Assessment of Children and Their Families'. Attending court and giving evidence when required.
  4. Initiating and implementing child protection plans, managing packages of care, and undertaking parenting and risk assessments.
Requirements / Experience:
  1. Post-qualifying experience as an Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry.
  2. HCPC Registration.
  3. 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.
  4. Enhanced DBS/CRB (available upon request).
  5. Eligibility to work in the UK.
