We are seeking a highly experienced professional to maintain and develop an outstanding portfolio of Trusts and Foundations multi-year grants. This key role will work closely with the team to identify and secure transformational funding for the Royal Shakespeare Company's work on and off-stage, including capital projects.



As a Strategic Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and regularly reviewing long-term strategies, focusing on securing six-figure + multi-year grants. You will liaise with colleagues across the company to identify fundable projects and submit high-quality, compelling, accurate applications with robust budgets.



Key areas of responsibility will include working with the Head of Trusts and Foundations to meet income targets, prospect research, collaboration with colleagues to identify and qualify new sources of funding, and stewarding existing supporters and building new relationships.



To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have a demonstrable track record in securing and managing multi-year five and six-figure grants from trusts, foundations, and statutory funders. You must be able to write exceptional, accurate, and compelling grant proposals, meet fundraising targets, and possess excellent communication and people skills.



This is a full-time, permanent position, which can be based in either London or Stratford-upon-Avon, with travel between sites for events and meetings. You will be working 35 hours per week, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required. The Royal Shakespeare Company offers flexible/hybrid working.
