We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Residential Support Worker to join our team at Elite Search Associates Limited. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day care and support of children and young people in our SEMH residential home in Milton Keynes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, promoting their safety, well-being, and personal development.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, fostering a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their emotional, social, and educational growth.
  • Support daily routines, including meal preparation, personal care, and recreational activities that cater to their individual needs and interests.
  • Promote and encourage positive behaviour and independence, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues, external agencies, and families.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • A relevant qualification in social care, childcare, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce). Or be willing to work towards this.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.

The salary for this role is £12-£13 per hour.
