Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at WESCO International. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and innovative solutions.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with a proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will work closely with our sales teams to develop and implement effective business plans, as well as analyze and monitor business growth and decline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in new markets
- Analyze and evaluate new business opportunities to identify potential for growth and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans
- Provide market research and analysis to inform business decisions
- Manage and analyze financial data to optimize business performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
