Job Title: Boarding House Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boarding House Chef to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and service to our students and staff.

About the Role:

  • Take charge of the kitchen operation, ensuring the smooth delivery of breakfast, lunch, and dinner to 75 students per day.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality meals, maintaining exceptional food hygiene, service, and presentation standards.
  • Support the management of the kitchen's financials, including the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
  • Develop and implement innovative food concepts, ensuring a diverse and engaging menu that meets the needs of our students.
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Group Executive Chef to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the hospitality team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef, with a track record of catering for large numbers and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Passion for food innovation and development, with a keen eye for current trends and culinary excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
  • High standards of quality and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
