About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at FatFace. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, managing costs, and delivering our brand vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Leadership: Support the Store Manager in commercially managing the store to maximize profitability through the retail plan, driving sales, managing costs, and delivering our brand vision.
  • Customer Service: Drive and role model customer service standards to exceed customer expectations, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience.
  • Team Development: Train, coach, and develop your team, supporting the completion of appraisals and performance reviews for all crew members.
  • Financial Management: Proactively analyze available financial data, retail and company strategy, and use local/industry knowledge and commercial creativity to maximize sales opportunities and support in making commercial decisions to drive store performance and exceed KPI targets.
  • Store Operations: Ensure that the store is working to budget through effective scheduling, cost controls, and crew productivity, and use effective planning and organizational skills to successfully implement the retail plan.
  • Visual Merchandising: Oversee and execute the FatFace visual proposition to company standards, including leading sale/new season launches and floor moves.
  • Compliance: Ensure correct procedures are adhered to in a professional manner for your crew and store, including cash and stock, health and safety, office, security of premises, key holders, and loss prevention.

  • Business Acumen: Align self to company social and environmental mission and champion any actions that can directly impact at all times.
  • Leadership: Proactively offer alternative ways for customers to buy across all of our channels, and ensure all crew are equipped with product training and are aware of our multichannel proposition.
  • Communication: Champion the FatFace vision and values in store, keeping the customer at the heart of all decision making.
  • Coaching and Development: Proactively provide crew with learning, development, and coaching opportunities to aid in achieving high-performing teams that reach their full potential.
