We have a strong track record of delivering positive changes in marine conservation policy in Wales, and we are now looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a Marine Conservation Policy Officer to work with our team to develop and implement effective marine conservation policies in Wales. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marine wildlife issues and experience of advocacy work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective marine conservation policies in Wales
- Work with our team to raise the profile of marine wildlife and the importance of conservation
- Engage with stakeholders and partners to build support for marine conservation initiatives
- Contribute to the development of our marine policy strategy
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of marine wildlife issues and experience of advocacy work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
