About the Role

We are seeking a Marine Conservation Policy Officer to work with our team to develop and implement effective marine conservation policies in Wales. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marine wildlife issues and experience of advocacy work.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective marine conservation policies in Wales
  2. Work with our team to raise the profile of marine wildlife and the importance of conservation
  3. Engage with stakeholders and partners to build support for marine conservation initiatives
  4. Contribute to the development of our marine policy strategy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of marine wildlife issues and experience of advocacy work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
