About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our small fundraising and marketing team as a Community Fundraising and Events Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with local community groups, businesses, and individuals to secure support for our charity.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning and delivering community events, including our annual Big Sleepout and other fundraising initiatives.

As a Community Fundraising and Events Coordinator, you will also be responsible for supporting our team of volunteers and ensuring that they have the resources and training they need to be successful. You will work closely with our Communications Officer to develop and implement effective marketing and communications strategies.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission to end homelessness in south Buckinghamshire and has a strong understanding of the local community. You will be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with local community groups, businesses, and individuals to secure support for our charity.
  • Plan and deliver community events, including our annual Big Sleepout and other fundraising initiatives.
  • Support our team of volunteers and ensure they have the resources and training they need to be successful.
  • Work closely with our Communications Officer to develop and implement effective marketing and communications strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to secure sponsorship and support for our events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of our fundraising and community engagement activities.
