Golf Membership & Events Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Golf Membership & Events Coordinator to join our Sales team at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and events, with a proven track record of delivering results and generating new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Events: Acquire sales as a result of dealing with both incoming prospects and prospects generated from networking and lead generation. Maximise revenue potential by identifying needs and upselling effectively.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Maintain the Club's online presence via social media and other associated sites. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Club's services and events.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Work with the Sales Manager and Food & Beverage Manager to ensure all details are covered for the effective delivery of sold events. Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered, encouraging repeat bookings and Centre reputation.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Network and connect with local people and businesses to build relationships and secure meeting/function revenue.
  • Administration and Reporting: Complete administration tasks relating to sales and tasks in accordance with sales audits. Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in sales and events, with a strong background in golf or a related industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Strong sales and marketing skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in sales, marketing, or a related field.
